Client: The Ark Day Nursery, Stafford
Jane Barber, Nursery Manager
Project: Complete refurbishment of existing nursery building.
What did the project involve?
CJS (NW) completely revamped the existing building. This included new ceilings, walls, a heating system and lighting through to the painting and decorating.
Did you have any requirements or instructions which were specific to your project or needs as a customer?
Being a busy nursery the team from CJS (NW) had to work around us and the needs of the children “ they were really flexible in doing so. Their understanding of our operating needs in our working day was excellent.
Care for clients operational needs
Only on one occasion did we have to move ourselves in order for building work to continue “ the plan was laid out to ensure continuity and consistency in the care we provide with all work naturally completed in areas the children could not access.
Also as we are not from a building background we found them to be very helpful, working from what was initially basic ideas and plans for how we would want the building to function. They worked very closely with us on this and came up with really useful suggestions. This went from a rough outline through to a coherent plan over the course of two meetings.
They were absolutely fabulous in their approach and quality of workmanship.
What would your feedback be to a friend or contact when they require design or shop-fitting services?
We found the guys from CJS (NW) to be absolutely outstanding. They are very thorough in their approach.
They stuck to their promises and to the plan regarding timescales, even though we asked for additional work to be carried out during the process. They delivered on time and on budget.
