Computer Room Air Conditioning
Air conditioning for computer and server rooms must be planned perfectly as such devices are highly sensitive to dust, humidity and sudden fluctuations in atmospheric temperature: the ability to maintain a consistent temperature and humidity levels within computer rooms is overlooked by many but can maintain the performance and longevity of your technology.
In the majority of computer rooms we work on, we will install what are known as Precision Air Conditioning (PAC) systems, which filter the air and regulate temperature and humidity levels across 24 hours and have the ability to be monitored remotely.

Up-Flow Air Conditioning
An up-flow air conditioning system will draw air into the front and underside of the air handling unit to then cool the air – redistributing the cool air through ducts or plenum.
Down-Flow Air Conditioning
AC units of this type will usually draw air through the top of the air handling unit, to then cool the air and redistribute it from the bottom of the unit into the floor void. This variety of AC unit is useful for server rooms in particular as the air re-enters the room via specially placed floor grilles to provide optimal airflow and temperature control.
Cooling Capacity

The Inspection and Installation Process
Once you have spoken to one of our friendly customer support team members, one of our expert surveyors will pay a visit to your commercial premises at a time convenient for you, often at short notice, if that is what you require.
Once on-site, our surveyor will carefully inspect the location of the computer and server rooms to carefully note the dimensions, ambient conditions and structural ventilation as well as the overall intention of the room and the number of heat-emitting devices to be installed.
