Two types of air conditioner work in conservatories, each offering different installation options.

Floor-Mounted

Most conservatories have a brick wall standing around 60cm tall, perfect for a floor-mounted air conditioning unit. Although often slightly more expensive than wall-mounted options, they are ideal for this dwarf wall, avoiding your line of sight and disguising themselves in your room. What’s more, you do not need to redecorate.

As hot air rises and cool air sinks, floor-mounted units are typically better at heating your conservatory than cooling it. However, our high-power options can rapidly cool any room.

Wall-Mounted

You can install a wall-mounted unit if your conservatory has a full-length wall, potentially connecting it to your house. More sizes and styles are available, and the units are typically more affordable than floor-mounted options.

Whilst their higher location is better for cooling your conservatory, they provide fewer installation options and less control over airflow direction than a floor-mounted unit.

Air Conditioning Units for Your Conservatory

As they do not have extensive insulation or ventilation, conservatories can become sweltering ovens in the summer and harsh freezers in the winter, making you less likely to enjoy them. You need superior air conditioning to regulate their climate.
